OVERVIEW

Using general practices taken from Minimum Standards in several states within the USA, Childcare Rules and Regulations (formerly Staff Development) provides a grounding in all areas of childcare for caregivers. The learner has the opportunity to internalize concepts through interactive exercises as well as develop plans to apply the learning consistently in their classrooms. Examples of regulations and best practices are provided. It is recommended that learners become familiar with specific state regulations and use the regulations issued by the state or local regulatory agency responsible for governing childcare policies in your region as a reference guide when taking this course.

Learners will understand the requirements of childcare licensing through experiential, interactive and application-based lessons.
