OVERVIEW

This course provides learners with an understanding of what stress is, and the external and internal sources of stress. Specific strategies for reducing long-term stress are introduced, as well as techniques for building tolerance to stress; reducing or eliminating short-term situations that cause stress; and techniques for immediately reducing stress level in such situations.

OBJECTIVES

Learners will develop specific skills through interactive and action-based lessons. These include:
